Were Hiring: Head – Trading (Edible & Cosmetic Oils)

Location: Mumbai, India

Reports To: CEO – Consumer Division | Matrix to CEO – Trading (Global)

Experience: 15+ years

About the Role:

Lead international sourcing, trading, and strategic management of edible and cosmetic oils. Drive pricing, risk management, and global procurement strategies while managing a high-performing team and P&L for the trading vertical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade edible & cosmetic oils (palm, soya, sunflower, coconut, castor, specialty cosmetic oils) across global markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with international producers, brokers, and trading houses.
• Develop trading strategies, hedging plans, and price forecasts (BMD, CBOT, etc.).
• Oversee import logistics, freight, customs, and compliance with DGFT, FSSAI, and international trade regulations.
• Optimize landed costs and margins; own P&L for the trading division.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of traders, analysts, and commercial professionals.

What We're Looking For:

• MBA/PGDM in International Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 15+ years of global experience in edible or cosmetic oil trading.
• Strong network in Southeast Asia, South America, and the Black Sea region.
• Proven leadership and P&L management experience.
