We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Open Pages Developer / Engineer.
Department - Enterprise Technology
In this role, you will:
IBM Open Pages (v8.1/8.2) – creating and amending Configuration, Workflow, Triggers, JSP Helpers, task views and underlying objects and data.Working with the core project team, IT Application Support, Front End users and IBM Solution Architects as required to configure and amend the Open Pages workflow to enhance the Model Risk Inventory systemTranslate requirements from User Stories/Use Cases and BRDsWork with the Product Owner, Solution & Platform Architects to identify changes required, create & agree necessary storiesIdentify options, creating logical & innovative solutions to complex problemsEnsures the level of automation within the team is optimised at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performanceWork with the Agile Lead to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities Qualifications - InternalTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:Essential Skills
5-10 years IBM Open Pages Experience.Advanced Java/J2EE skills.Familiar with JavaScript, HTML & CSS.Excellent knowledge of Oracle, WASStrong communication skillsWorking Experience in IBM OpenPages GRC platform 7.3+ including Configuration, Workflow, Triggers, JSP Helpers, Application maintenance.Working in Agile frameworkStrong technical concepts to help team deliver the technical design solutionWorked on task focussed UI on OpenPagesKnowledge of MRG domainExperience in DevOps, CI-CD tools e.g. JenkinsExperience on batch jobs, shell scriptingHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
