Bhagwan Mahaveer Law College & Research Centre is a leading institution committed to excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join our Department of Economics as a Visiting or Part-Time Assistant Professor.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Economics, contributing to academic advising, and participating in departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach core and elective courses in Economics.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures and course materials.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support students through mentoring and academic advising.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities (preferred, but not mandatory for visiting positions).

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
  • Master's degree in Economics from a recognized university.
  • Preferred:
  • Ph.D. in Economics or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior teaching or research experience at the university/college level.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students in academic learning.
  • Commitment to academic excellence and integrity.

Employment Type:

Visiting / Part-Time – Contract or semester-based appointment.
