Job Overview
The Sales Manager – Life Insurance will be responsible for driving sales and expanding market share for life insurance products by recruiting and managing a network of POS advisors, as well as generating direct sales. The role requires a combination of strong sales expertise, product knowledge, and relationship management skills to ensure customer satisfaction and business retention.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
- Promote and sell life insurance products such as Term Plans, Endowment Plans, ULIPs, Child Plans, Retirement Plans, and Pension Plans.
- Conduct client meetings, sales presentations, and financial need analysis for customers.
- Develop strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
2. POS Advisor Recruitment & Management
- Identify, recruit, and train POS advisors to build a sustainable sales force.
- Monitor performance and motivate advisors to consistently achieve sales goals.
- Provide continuous product and soft-skill training to enhance productivity.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure timely servicing of policies, renewals, and claim support.
- Handle customer queries and provide prompt resolutions.
4. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and company guidelines.
- Prepare business MIS, sales reports, and market intelligence updates for management.
- Maintain ethical sales practices and ensure complete transparency with clients.

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in Life Insurance or BFSI sector.
- Prior experience in selling life insurance policies and managing advisor networks.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed business targets.
