Roles and Responsibilities of AR Caller (Fresher):

Claims Follow-up:

Contact insurance companies via phone to check claim status.

Follow up on pending, denied, or underpaid claims.

Denial Management:

Understand the reason for claim denials.

Work on resolving denials by coordinating with payers.

Documentation:

Accurately document all call details, payer responses, and next steps in the system.

Update accounts with proper notes for future reference.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with insurance representatives and team members.

Escalate complex issues to seniors when needed.

Compliance & Accuracy:

Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.

Ensure error-free documentation and coding adherence.

Team Coordination:

Work with billing team, coding team, and supervisors for claim resolution.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Performance Targets:

Meet daily/weekly productivity and quality targets (number of calls, resolution rate, etc.).

Work under defined turnaround times (TAT).

Learning & Adaptability:

Gain knowledge of U.S. healthcare terminologies, insurance processes, and billing software.

Adapt quickly to process changes and payer requirements.
