Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Security Engineer based in Hyderabad. The Network Security Engineer will monitor, maintain, and enhance the organization's network infrastructure while ensuring the highest levels of security. Responsibilities include designing and implementing secure networks, identifying vulnerabilities, preventing security breaches, updating security protocols, and collaborating with IT teams to ensure system integrity. The engineer will also assist in enforcing cybersecurity best practices and handling security incidents as they arise.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering, with a strong understanding of related technologies and protocols.
  • Expertise in Network Security, including the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Cybersecurity and Information Security principles, including threat detection and vulnerability management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to address technical challenges.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Proven understanding of industry security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
