  • Route planning: Some drivers, like taxi drivers or delivery drivers, may need to plan their routes in advance to ensure they arrive at their destinations efficiently. This may involve using GPS or mapping apps to find the quickest route or one that avoids traffic congestion.
  • Vehicle maintenance: Many drivers are responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and lights. They may also be responsible for reporting any mechanical issues to a supervisor or mechanic.
  • Customer service: If a driver transports passengers, they may also be responsible for providing good customer service. This may involve being polite and courteous to passengers, helping them with their luggage, and answering their questions.
