NEED ONLY LOCAL TO NY CANDIDATES ONLY

The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet business needs.

Job Duties:

Participate in the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications under the guidance of senior developers.

Learn and apply .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and other relevant frameworks.

Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment.

Collaborate effectively with other developers, testers, and stakeholders.

Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure application quality and stability.

Stay updated on the latest .NET technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

12+ years of professional software development experience.

Proficiency in developing and maintaining web applications using C# and the .NET Framework (version 4.8 or newer).

Experience designing and implementing MVC5+ architecture for scalable and maintainable solutions.

Strong skills in building and consuming Web Services and Web APIs.

Solid understanding of ADO.NET for data access and manipulation.

Expertise in designing and developing web pages using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

Expertise in writing optimized SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures, and managing databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or newer.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives within specified timelines.

Experience working with City of New York agencies is a plus, but not mandatory.

Willingness to train in additional Microsoft technologies as needed.
