Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.Preferred Qualifications:BE/BTech/MTech – Electronics & Communication , Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science3 to 6 years of experience with embedded systemsPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:Knowledge and experience in device driver development, firmware development.Good analytical and problem solving skills.Must be proficient in C / C++Good understanding of microprocessor, multiprocessor architecture.Excellent understanding of basic real-time/embedded programming conceptsExperience in Windows/linux/UEFI storage drivers for emmc, UFS, NVME, FS. Having experience on windows/boot storage would be plusResponsibilities:Driver design and development on multiprocessor and multithreaded Snapdragon platformsDrivers development/support includes storage protocols like EMMC/UFS/NVME/SATA.Debug and resolve issues in drivers reported by internal test teams as well as by customers.Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
