Key Responsibilities (KRA):
1. Commercial & Procurement Management
- Plan and manage procurement of materials, consumables, and services through approved vendors.
- Negotiate rates and contracts to ensure cost savings and adherence to budgets.
- Approve purchase orders, vendor bills, and maintain proper documentation.
- Handle local (cash) purchases while maintaining transparency and audit readiness.
2. Site Construction & Project Support
- Monitor commercial and contractual aspects of ongoing projects.
- Verify work progress bills and coordinate with project managers for site requirements.
- Ensure material availability as per project schedule to avoid work delays.
- Control project budgets and prepare cost variance reports.
3. Store & Inventory Management
- Oversee receipt, issue, and storage of materials at site stores.
- Maintain stock registers, track consumption, and conduct periodic audits.
- Implement proper inventory control measures to minimize wastage and pilferage.
4. Facility Management & Housekeeping
- Ensure smooth functioning of facility operations, including maintenance and housekeeping services.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of premises.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
5. Security & Safety Management
- Oversee deployment and performance of security personnel and agencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety norms, fire safety drills, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) usage.
- Develop and implement security protocols to safeguard company assets and personnel.
6. Billing & Financial Control
- Scrutinize vendor invoices, verify work completion, and ensure timely payment processing.
- Maintain records for all commercial transactions for audit compliance.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports covering expenditures, savings, and budget utilization.
7. Compliance & Administration
- Ensure statutory compliance related to contracts, vendors, and safety.
- Liaise with local authorities and statutory bodies as required.
- Support senior management in audits, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives.
