Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and well-connected Banking Partnership Manager to lead and expand PalmPay's partnerships with local and international banks and financial institutions in Pakistan. This role focuses on developing, managing, and optimizing key banking relationships to support business growth, payment solutions, and financial integration projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bank partnerships, fintech collaboration, or financial project management, along with strong relationships across senior banking networks.
Key Responsibilities1. Partnership Development & Relationship ManagementBuild, maintain, and expand strategic relationships with banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions.
Serve as the primary liaison between PalmPay and partner banks to ensure long-term, mutually beneficial collaborations.
Leverage existing senior-level contacts within banks to accelerate partnership development and project execution.
Negotiate partnership agreements, pricing terms, and service-level commitments.
Identify new partnership opportunities to expand PalmPay's product reach and financial ecosystem.
Collaborate with internal teams to create co-branded products, joint campaigns, and innovative payment solutions.
Drive partnership-based initiatives that contribute to revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Evaluate financial performance of partnerships to ensure ROI and continuous improvement.
Oversee the implementation of banking projects, ensuring smooth integration of products and services.
Coordinate fund flow, settlement, and reconciliation processes between PalmPay and partner banks.
Monitor performance metrics and resolve operational issues with agility and precision.
Collaborate with internal teams across Finance, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Technology to support partnership goals.
Communicate regularly with executive leadership on banking relationship performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Ensure partnership activities align with regulatory, compliance, and company standards.
Work closely with product and tech teams to develop and enhance financial solutions through banking integrations.
Stay informed on emerging fintech trends, digital payments, and banking innovations to identify potential collaboration models.
Support the development of new payment gateways, card products, and credit services in partnership with financial institutions.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in banking partnerships, financial business development, or fintech collaborations.
Proven record of managing partnerships with banks, PSPs, or financial institutions.
Established network of senior-level contacts within local and international banks.
Strong understanding of Pakistan's banking, payments, and regulatory environment (SBP, SECP).
Exceptional negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Fluency in English and Urdu (written and verbal).
Experience in digital banking, NBFC, or fintech payment products.
Knowledge of settlement, reconciliation, and fund management processes.
Exposure to cross-border payment systems and card scheme partnerships.
Strategic mindset with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
