We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting (MIS), pricing and profitability controls, and end-to-end reconciliation across e-commerce and offline sales channels.

This role also owns GST, TDS, and ROC compliance execution for a Private Limited company, working closely with internal teams and external consultants.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain
    daily accounting entries in Tally (Prime/ERP)
  • Handle sales, purchase, expense, bank, and journal entries
  • Manage vendor payments, customer receipts, advances, and deposits
  • Perform regular
    bank and ledger reconciliations
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures

2. MIS & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare
    daily, weekly, and monthly MIS
    , including:
  • Revenue (channel-wise)
  • Gross margin & contribution analysis
  • Operating expenses
  • Cash flow & bank position
  • Track budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Present clear financial insights to management for decision-making

3. Pricing, Costing & Profitability Control

  • Maintain
    SKU-wise costing sheets
    (imported & manufactured products)
  • Monitor pricing, discounts, commissions, logistics, and return costs
  • Analyze profitability by product, channel, and customer segment
  • Support management in pricing decisions and margin optimization
  • Identify loss-making SKUs/channels and recommend corrective actions

4. E-Commerce & Channel Reconciliation

  • Perform
    end-to-end reconciliations
    for:
  • Amazon, Flipkart, D2C website, distributors, offline sales
  • Reconcile orders, settlements, commissions, returns, and deductions
  • Identify short payments and excess charges and raise disputes
  • Coordinate with operations, CS, and marketplaces for resolution
  • Maintain clean, auditable reconciliation records

5. GST, TDS & ROC Compliance

  • Handle
    GST compliance
    , including:
  • GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation and filing
  • GST reconciliation with books and e-commerce data
  • Input Tax Credit (ITC) tracking and optimization
  • Handle
    TDS compliance
    , including:
  • TDS deduction, challans, and return filings (26Q / 24Q)
  • TDS reconciliation and vendor compliance tracking
  • Manage
    ROC compliances for a Private Limited Company
    , including:
  • AOC-4, MGT-7, DIR-3 KYC coordination
  • Maintenance of statutory records and documentation
  • Coordinate with CA/CS while
    owning data accuracy and timelines

6. Cross-Department Coordination

  • Work closely with:
  • Sales (pricing, discounts, credit notes)
  • Operations & SCM (inventory valuation, landed cost)
  • Customer Service (refunds, returns)
  • Management (financial planning & controls)
  • Ensure financial discipline and process adherence across teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Commerce / Finance / Accounting
  • (CA-Inter / MBA Finance is a plus)
  • 4–8 years of
    hands-on accounting and MIS experience
  • Strong working knowledge of
    Tally (mandatory)
  • Practical experience with
    GST, TDS, and ROC compliances
  • Experience in
    e-commerce or consumer products
    preferred
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, lookups, reconciliations)
  • Good understanding of costing, margins, and cash flow
