We build cutting edge AI solutions to enable drivers and fleets realize unsafe driving scenarios in real-time to prevent accidents from happening and reduce fatalities/injuries. Experience: 4 to 6 yearsJob Title: Staff Data ScientistAs a Staff Data Scientist, you will be an integral member of our cross-functional team consisting of data scientists, engineers, and analysts. Your primary responsibilities will include:Role and ResponsibilitiesDesigning, developing, and evaluating statistical and predictive models to analyze feature performance and drive actionable insights.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions addressing key business challenges. Applying advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies in large-scale datasets. Developing scalable cloud and web-based components to ingest, process, transform, and visualize data effectively.

Creating robust frameworks and tools to automate and enhance data mining, labeling, model training, and validation processes for internal ML/DL initiatives. Conducting studies, setting up automation tools and frameworks, and regularly publishing internal and external KPI audits. Clearly communicating analytical insights and creating intuitive, storytelling-driven dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualifications:Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.5-7 years of proven experience in data science or a related discipline. Strong foundational knowledge in statistics, probability theory, estimation theory, and statistical inference. Excellent programming skills in Python, with strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures.

Good understanding of database internals and schema design for relational (RDBMS) and non-relational (NoSQL) data stores. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in data visualization techniques and storytelling through data.

Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Preferred Skills:Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Grafana, or Plotly-Dash. Exposure to AWS cloud services, including Kinesis, EKS, Auto Scaling Groups, etc.

Familiarity with popular Python web frameworks like Django or Flask.
