Job Family Definition:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for subsystems of systems software (OS, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, internet tools).
• Analyze designs and determine coding, programming, and integration activities required based on project objectives and guidelines.
• Execute and document portions of testing plans and protocols; debug issues with code and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with project teams (internal and outsourced) to deliver reliable, cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions.
• Communicate design status, project progress, and issue resolution effectively with stakeholders and partners.

What You Need to Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in systems software development.
• Proficiency with software systems design tools and programming languages.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience designing software systems across multiple platforms.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including test plan execution, debugging, and use of testing tools/scripts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and local language), with the ability to present design proposals and negotiate options.
