Team Profile:
Alvarez & Marsal's disputes and investigations (DI) team works with clients to advise on anti-bribery and corruption consulting, cyber security, fraud investigations, anti-fraud programs and controls, regulatory compliance, litigation support and bankruptcy matters. DI team provides expertise to manage and minimize securities litigation and regulatory compliance risks.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:
As an Analyst/Associate specializing in Cybersecurity services within A&M's Disputes & Investigations practice, the successful candidate will contribute to engagements involving:

  • Cybersecurity Program Maturity Assessment: Assisting in evaluating cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, etc.
  • IT Risk Assessment: Supporting cybersecurity assessments and data classification services.
  • Data Privacy and Compliance assessment and implementation: Contributing to DPDPA, GDPR and other compliance-related activities.
  • Security Awareness: Supporting the delivery of security and privacy awareness training.
  • Technical Expertise: Gaining exposure to application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, and other security domains.
  • Research and Analysis: Conducting research on cybersecurity threats, IT trends, and security controls.
  • Project Support:
  • Assist in planning and executing project tasks under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support cybersecurity assessments and investigations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with team members to ensure timely delivery of project tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand requirements and provide updates.
  • Skill Development:
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance technical and professional skills.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and tools.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
Education:

  • Analyst: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Associate: Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 1-2 years of experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Familiarity with application security standards such as CIS, OWASP TOP 10 etc.
  • Exposure to tools and technologies used in cybersecurity assessments.
  • Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
  • Analyst: CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
  • Associate: CISSP, CISA, or equivalent.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with challenging timelines.
