We're looking for a strong Backend Engineer to help us design, build, and scale backend services that power our products. You'll work closely with frontend, mobile, and product teams to build reliable APIs

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using and Python.
• Work with databases (SQL / NoSQL) to model and manage data efficiently.
• Implement RESTful / GraphQL APIs and ensure consistent integration with frontend and mobile apps.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to improving observability and monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in backend development using or Python.
• Strong understanding of API design, authentication (OAuth2 JWT), and microservice communication.
• Solid grasp of databases PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB; ability to write optimized queries.
• Familiarity with AWS / GCP / Azure, Docker, and basic CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of scalability, caching (Redis / Memcached), and message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ).
• Experience with unit/integration testing and code-quality practices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Bonus points

• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Sentry.
• Contribution to open-source projects or personal side projects.
