Job description

We are looking for a candidate with excellent layout and proofing skills and has experience with print production and pre-press processes. The candidate must be fluent in graphic applications including Corel Draw, Photoshop and Illustrator.

He/She must also be able to work with the Microsoft suite of Word and Excel. They should be able to work with multiple projects and be able to perform within tight deadlines, have decent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt to a changing environment and acquire new skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

o Create layouts for specific print jobs

o Execute revisions as necessary.

o Create print layouts as per machine and design for printing.

o Communicate with plate/flexo makers regarding order of plates.

o Team player with other staff designers including constructive critiques, input and job completion

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/ABILITIES

o Results-orientated, deadline-driven and used to working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

o Must have a thorough understanding of pre-press and printing.

o Minimum 2-3 years experience.

o Organize, priorities, and control job responsibilities.

o Work with minimal direct supervision.

o Must be proficient with relevant design related programs, including Corel Draw, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Word and Excel.

o Corel draw, photoshop and Illustrator are a must

o Must be able to juggle multiple projects and perform well with aggressive turnaround times.

o Communicate effectively with management, co-workers and customers.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofing, grammar and spelling.

o Must be confident to take a project from concept to completion.

o Problem solve technical issues.

o Ability to learn and utilize new technology quickly and accurately as it pertains to our business.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9, ₹26,013.81 per month
