Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and low-latency applications using modern C++.


• Optimize code for minimum latency and maximum throughput in performance-critical applications.


• Use efficient memory management techniques to minimize leaks and overhead.


• Implement multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel computing for performance optimization.


• Work with networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), real-time data processing, and inter-process communication.


• Follow the best coding practices such as SOLID principles and design patterns for maintainable code.


• Perform profiling, benchmarking, and debugging to improve execution speed and efficiency.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and product teams, to ensure seamless integration and deployment.


• Keep up with the latest C++ standards (C++17, C++20) and industry trends.


• Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:


• Minimum 2 years of experience as a C++ Developer / SDE-2, preferably within an algorithmic trading firm.


• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.


• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11, C++14, C++17, or later).


• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, with the ability to write optimized and efficient code.


• Familiarity with trading basics, NSE-BSE API protocols, FAST, and FIX protocols.


• Deep understanding of low-latency programming, memory management, and CPU/GPU optimizations.


• Experience with multi-threading, lock-free programming, and concurrent programming.


• Proficiency in STL, Boost, and other C++ libraries.
• Experience with profiling tools (e.g., Valgrind, gperftools, Intel VTune).


• Knowledge of network programming, sockets, and IPC mechanisms.


• Strong debugging skills.


• Familiarity with high-frequency trading (HFT), gaming engines, or real-time systems is a plus.


• Good understanding of compilers, memory allocation strategies, and cache optimization.


• Experience with Linux-based development and scripting (Bash, Python).


• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


• A proactive team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment.
