he Junior Accountant supports the finance department with daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, disciplined, and organised individual eager to learn and grow in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Daily Accounting Operations:

  2. Record and maintain financial transactions.

  3. Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes.

  4. Update general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.

  5. Monitor and record petty cash expenses.

  6. Maintain accurate records of vendor invoices and payments.

  7. Bank & Cash Management:

  8. Help with daily bank reconciliations.

  9. Prepare and maintain payment vouchers.

  10. Support cash flow monitoring and reporting.

  11. Inventory & Purchase Support (if applicable):

  12. Coordinate with purchase and store teams for inventory reconciliation.

  13. Ensure accuracy in GRN records.

  14. Track vendor outstanding balances.

  15. Documentation & Compliance:

  16. Prepare and maintain documentation for audit requirements.

  17. Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.

  18. Ensure proper filing and documentation of bills, receipts, and ledgers.

  19. Reporting & Analysis:

  20. Assist the senior accountant in preparing monthly MIS.

  21. Generate basic financial reports.

  22. Support budget vs actual tracking.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com)

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks)

  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Ability to work with deadlines and maintain accuracy

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35, ₹40,000.00 per month
