Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess childrens fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and daily living abilities.
  • Create individualized therapy plans tailored to each childs needs and developmental goals.
  • Provide sensory integration therapy, handwriting support, motor planning activities, and self-care training.
  • Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and other therapists to ensure a consistent developmental approach.
  • Maintain engaging, child-friendly therapy sessions using play-based strategies.
  • Document progress and adapt interventions as children grow and achieve milestones.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT) from a recognized institution.
  • RcI registration/AIOTA Membership/IOTR Registration.
  • Sensory Integration Therapy, Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT), Autism Intervention Programs, or Handwriting Without Tears.
  • Experience in pediatric settings, especially with children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, or developmental delays.
  • Strong communication skills to work with both children and parents.
  • Creativity, patience, and a child-centered approach to therapy.
