Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevSecOps practices, cloud security, and containerized application security. You will be responsible for integrating security at every stage of the software development lifecycle (Shift-Left Security) and ensuring compliance and protection across infrastructure, pipelines, and deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, and Container Security tools into development workflows.
  • Design and enforce Shift-Left Security strategies to identify vulnerabilities early in the development process.
  • Perform security assessments and automate security testing for applications and infrastructure.
  • Manage and secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Deploy, monitor, and secure Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and containerized applications.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to establish best practices and security standards.
  • Create and maintain documentation for security controls, processes, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in DevSecOps or related security roles.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration.
  • Experience implementing and managing:
  • SAST (Static Application Security Testing) tools
  • DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) tools
  • SCA (Software Composition Analysis)
  • IaC Security Scanning (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Container Image Scanning and runtime security
  • Deep understanding of Shift-Left Security principles.
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Familiarity with security standards (OWASP, CIS Benchmarks, NIST).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Security certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or DevSecOps Professional.
  • Experience with tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Aqua, Twistlock, Trivy, Snyk, or Anchore.
  • Exposure to threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
