Skill Required:

  • Strong background in Infrastructure Architecture, Support, Automation, Problem-solving, and Project Management for Linux and Windows environments.

  • Proficiency in Redhat Linux (RHEL 7 and 8), Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, bash, shell scripting, Azure/AWS cloud, Perl, Python, and similar languages.

  • Windows Servers management (2012, 2016, 2019) and PowerShell scripting.

  • Experience in Windows AD-based authentication for Linux and Windows systems.

  • Managing Cisco UCS physical servers and Virt/RHV KVM, VMware virtualization technologies.

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker containers, and ensuring hosts are updated with the latest patches.

  • Supporting end clients, providing solutions, and handling storage migrations with minimal downtime.

  • Overseeing day-to-day infrastructure management for 3000+ Linux (80%) and Windows (20%) hosts in a 24x7 environment, with the majority being virtualized.

  • Availability for occasional weekend and on-call rotation support, as well as participation in Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, offer direction, diagnose issues, and troubleshoot effectively in a mixed Linux/Solaris/Windows environment.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, adaptability, quick learning capabilities, and a team-oriented approach.
