Role Overview: You should have experience in handling Accounting, Financials, and Reporting activities of the entity. Your responsibilities will include supporting month-end close activities, year-end close processes, and strengthening internal controls. Additionally, you will be involved in handling automation projects, account reconciliation, and conducting data analysis using advanced Excel skills. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely accounting entries - Review the general ledger and record monthly entries in coordination with Business unit heads - Ensure that monthly closing processes and account reconciliations are completed within specified timelines - Be involved in automation tasks, creating templates, running tests for databases, and collaborating with other users towards automation initiatives - Prepare and publish timely Management Information System (MIS) reports on a Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual basis - Liaise with internal and statutory auditors to provide accurate information - Take independent responsibilities for specific assignments, identify and resolve issues during execution, and provide recommendations for driving efficiency and process improvements Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience or an Inter CA with 6-8 years of post-qualification experience - Knowledge of mortgage lending and servicing businesses would be advantageous - Familiarity with US GAAP/IFRS accounting and reporting - Proficiency in Oracle and MS Office is essential for this role (Note: This position does not have specific work schedule or travel requirements. The typical work hours are from 2 PM to 11 PM.),
