Infrastructure Delivery Lead

The Applications Development Support Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis, Infra/platform requirements and complete stack for programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Manage infrastructure projects for client-facing applications, addressing servers, network, firewall, storage, I/O, redundancy, and compliance.
• Collaborate effectively with technology teams, project management teams, architects, engineers, and infrastructure administrators.
• Lead infrastructure transformations, including non-strategic migrations and cloud adoption.
• Engage with vendors and internal stakeholders to analyze business requirements and deliver enterprise solutions. Conduct due diligence on infrastructure requirements and propose strategic and forward-looking architecture/ technology solutions.
• Implement industry best practices, prioritizing production stability and avail‐ability when designing solutions.
• Manage daily tasks and activities with development leads to meet deliverables and schedules for data solution components within broader application projects.
• Support application teams by organizing infrastructure-related work and planning to meet deadlines.
• Support the development community by documenting systems, database and middleware designs, infrastructure requests, and contributing to application de‐livery and go-live.
• Partner with other Applications infrastructure leads across business departments and Citi technology groups to drive quality in application onboarding and production stability initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or Infra Systems analysis/implementation role
• Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the areas of Applications Development Operating System, Middleware, or Database Stack such as Linux, Oracle, Kafka
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to drive business results through technology solutions.
• Excellent presentation skills and comfortable interacting with executives, IT management, and developers.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Effective communication and strong relationship-building skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred

Technical Skills:

• Subject matter expertise in infrastructure/ hardware/ software/ database/ middleware stack.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure project management, including end-of-vendor support upgrades.
• Experience managing infrastructure lifecycles, including upgrades and migrations.
• Expertise in SQL, Windows, Linux, Oracle, TIBCO, KAFKA and WebLogic / WebSphere.
• Exposure with enterprise container solutions (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Microservices), Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
