Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Admission Counselor to join our team at Career Mantra. This full-time position is open to freshers and will be located in Gwalior or Pune. The candidate should possess a strong aptitude for career counseling, and ideally have some experience or exposure to working with CRM software like Salesforce. This position is ideal for individuals eager to begin their career in the education industry.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in career counseling to assist students in selecting the appropriate courses and institutions (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with customer relationship management software, preferably Salesforce, to maintain and organize client data.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey course information and advice to students and parents.
  • Capability in student counseling, providing guidance and support throughout the admission process.
  • Time management skills to handle multiple inquiries and tasks efficiently and prioritize workloads effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students and educational institutions.
  • A proactive approach to identify and address queries and challenges faced by students in the decision-making process.
  • Detail-oriented in gathering and verifying student information and admission requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and counseling to students regarding course selection, admission requirements, and educational opportunities.
  • Assist students in gathering necessary documentation and completing admission applications accurately and on time.
  • Maintain detailed records of student engagements and interactions using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions to stay updated on admission processes, program offerings, and scholarships.
  • Conduct presentations and seminars to inform potential students about available educational opportunities and services offered by Career Mantra.
  • Assess and respond quickly to student inquiries, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with educational partners and stakeholders to enhance the services provided.
  • Continuously update personal knowledge on educational trends and opportunities to provide current and comprehensive advice.
