Job Description

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Join us as a "Analyst PLU" at Barclays, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. In this role, you'll play a key role in supporting law enforcement investigations by providing timely information to law enforcement agencies to forensically investigative cases and use that information to disrupt financial crime. You'll handle initial inquiries from law enforcement, manage requests for information, and ensure compliance with legal protocols, helping to facilitate effective investigations at their earliest stages.

To be successful as a "Analyst PLU", you will need the following:

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage and analyze large volumes of complex information.

  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and making timely decisions.

  • Solid experience in analytics, ideally within a controlled environment.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Familiarity with Barclays systems, especially ServiceNow and Full Serve, is advantageous but not essential.

  • Experience in professional communications, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Stakeholder management experience, supporting collaborative relationships across teams.
