Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Safety Officer. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring health and safety standards are met on-site. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections, implementing occupational health policies, investigating accidents, providing safety and security training to employees, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations. The role requires close coordination with various teams to promote a safe and secure work environment.

Qualifications

  • Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills
  • Experience in Accident Investigation and Safety Training
  • Security management skills
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications in health and safety are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Health and Safety Management, or related field
  • Should have completed any safety certification(NEBOSH, IOSH,OHSAS, Industrial Safety)
  • Ensure compliance with all state, and local safety regulations
  • Identify potential hazards in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them
