Job Role: Content Writer

CMELLCS Italian seeks an enthusiastic and creative Content Writer to join our growing team. As a writer, you will help shape our editorial voice, support our academic mission, and engage a vibrant community by developing compelling, original, and informative content.

Responsibilities

  • Research, write, and edit engaging articles on topics related to the Italian language, literature, and culture.
  • Work with students, alumni, and faculty to curate and refine user-contributed content.
  • Develop resource guides, study tips, and creative pieces tailored for language learners.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Participate in team meetings and share ideas for new features and sections.

Requirements

  • Excellent English writing skills; proficiency in Italian is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in Italian studies, literature, or cultural topics.
  • Prior experience in content writing, blogging, or academic writing preferred.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and deliver well-structured articles.
  • Strong attention to detail and respect for deadlines.
  • Creative mindset, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn.
