Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Social Media Manager located in Marine Lines, Mumbai. The Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, managing social media accounts, creating and curating content, and optimizing social media performance. Additionally, the role involves communicating with internal teams and external audiences, monitoring social media trends, and ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.

  • Lead and scale the company's social media, raise creative standards, and manage strategic external relationships. This role combines strong creative leadership with partnerships and vendor management, and requires both strategic thinking and heavy execution to drive growth across existing and new platforms. All items are negotiable for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage social media team of 6 people (1 Social Media Lead, 2 Designers, 2 Media Assistants, 1 Campus Ambassador Lead).
  • Improve quality of content — bring ideas to life with strong creative direction and execution.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and set creative benchmarks.
  • Guide team to expand across new platforms (Reddit, X, Quora, etc.), with repurposed multi-format content.
  • Scout, recruit, and negotiate with 3rd-party vendors for UGC, influencer marketing, ad production, and more.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversee creative direction for brochures, artworks, and event collateral.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years total experience in social media, content, or creative roles.
  • 2–3 years of managerial and leadership experience (required).
  • Proven experience scaling content across multiple platforms.
  • Strong creative instincts and hands-on content production experience.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong project management and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Deep knowledge of platform best practices and emerging channels.

Nice-To-Have (Not Required)

  • Experience running campus ambassador or community-led growth programs.
  • Prior experience in the education space.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹900, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
