We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in cloud engineering, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, container orchestration, and observability platforms. The role requires deep technical experience across AWS, Terraform, GitLab/GitHub CI/CD, Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, and monitoring frameworks.

Role Summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building highly scalable, automated, and secure cloud-native environments. You will design robust CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized workloads, ensure system reliability, and lead automation initiatives across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Automation

  • Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions.

  • Implement automated build, test, and deployment workflows.

Infrastructure as Code

  • Develop scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, including modules and environment automation.

AWS Cloud Engineering

  • Architect, optimize, and secure AWS environments including:

    • Networking: VPC, Subnets, Route53, NACLs, Security Groups

    • Compute & Application Services: ALB/ELB/NLB, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, Lambda (optional)

    • Storage & Databases: S3, RDS, DynamoDB

    • Security & Identity: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager

    • Operations: CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, ECR

Containerization & Orchestration

  • Create, optimize, and secure Docker images.

  • Deploy and manage workloads on Amazon EKS, including scaling, monitoring, and lifecycle operations.

Observability & Monitoring

  • Implement monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and Grafana.

  • Ensure strong visibility, performance tracking, and proactive issue detection.

Operational Excellence

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, pipeline, and deployment issues.

  • Drive DevOps best practices, automation culture, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline release processes.

  • Ensure high availability, cost-efficiency, and security of cloud platforms.

  • Linux/Unix administration

  • Bash/Python scripting

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certifications (DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect)

  • Kubernetes Certifications (CKA / CKAD)

  • Exposure to Istio or advanced monitoring/logging stacks

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

  • Ability to mentor junior engineers

  • Proactive ownership and continuous learning mindset

Mandatory Conditions

  • Must-have skills: DevOps, AWS, Terraform, Git/GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Monitoring
