Position Summary

AEM Technical Architect (TA) position is a client-facing role requiring both technical and business/marketing knowledge and skills. TA works to gather & understand Client's unique business requirements and provide expert guidance by sharing best practices & recommendations to our Customer/Implementation Partners in building customized solutions to meet their business reporting needs through AEM platform. TA also performs quality checks to ensure that the implementation cycle follows industry best practices, flag all technical issues and highlight risks when they arise. TA works with Clients to strategize and drive business value from the platform and enable them to adopt & scale-up in their maturity roadmap. It is a technical advisory role with certain hands-on support and requires a solid technical acumen in digital platform implementation and involves constant customer interaction.

What you'll do

  1. Work closely with Adobe SMEs, Business and Technical business analysts, designers

& teams to understand business requirements to translate them into scalable AEM

solutions.

  1. Provide technical leadership to the development team, best design practices and

ensuring code quality, and mentor leads & developers.

  1. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimize AEM application performance,

and ensure smooth functionality of web platforms.

  1. Lead regular synch up calls with counter-part teams - Biz, Content, …

  2. Create and maintain technical documentation for AEM projects.

  3. Lead & co-ordinate the regular & bigger content launch events from planning, WBS

creation & review, regular connects, pre, post war-room activities.

  1. Lead the platform continuous operational & cost effective improvement initiatives to

meet the defined KPI.

  1. Regularly conduct project assessment, identify risks & problems & resolve.

What you need to succeed

1.10 – 12 years of development experience on Adobe AEM/CQ experience implementing full cycle Adobe AEM projects.

  1. Extensive experience in AEM architecture & technology suite, Sling web framework

& amp; Apache Felix OSGi framework, DAM, Workflow (custom, OOTB), multi-site manager (MSM), Dispatcher filter & mapping rules.

3.. Solid experience with AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, pages, experience fragments & bundles.

  1. Experience in integrating AEM with other platforms, technologies, third-party systems, APIs, different internal servers, databases using both frontend (ajax,

cookies) & backend components (servlet, OSGI, Sling)

  1. Troubleshoot complex issues by analyzing Heap & Thread dumps.

  2. Provide architectural guidance & suggestion around server environment configurations, data management, caching, CDN usage, security, etc.

  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  1. AEM Sites Developer Certified.

  2. Familiarity in AMS Cloud Manager.

  3. Experience integrating Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign.

  4. Experience with data migration in AEM.

  5. Experience with Junit and other testing frameworks in AEM.

  6. Familiarity with front-end technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  7. Experience with JIRA / ROD ticket tracking tools.
