Senior DevOps Engineer with AWS Services

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in AWS XSinfrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipeline development. This role requires deep technical knowledge of AWS services, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to enhance our delivery processes and platform architecture.

Scope of Services / Tasks & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CodePipeline, and Terraform.
• Architect and manage AWS infrastructure, including EKS, ECR, S3, CodeCommit, EC2, and related DevOps tools.
• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, internet gateways, NAT gateways, and security groups to ensure secure and scalable cloud deployments.
• Build and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and ensure effective container orchestration using Docker and Helm.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and infrastructure management using Terraform, CloudFormation, and other IaC tools.
• Integrate OIDC configuration for secure identity and access management with Kubernetes and other AWS services.
• Enhance observability and reliability by implementing monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Elasticsearch, and other SRE tools.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure applications are deployment-ready with proper environment configuration and rollback support.
• Collaborate with cloud infrastructure and operations teams to ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework and Operational Excellence best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation on DevOps processes, tools, and cloud infrastructure setups.
• Support governance, compliance, and security automation initiatives.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or automation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with:
• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.
• Infrastructure Automation: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• AWS Services: EKS, ECR, S3, EC2, RDS, CodePipeline, CodeCommit, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Helm.
• Network Components: VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT/IGWs, security groups.
• Authentication/Authorization: OIDC integration, IAM, RBAC.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Perl.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security, high availability, and scalability.
• Experience integrating GitHub for code management and automation workflows.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud-native observability tools such as:
• AWS X-Ray
• CloudWatch Logs & Metrics
• ElasticSearch/Kibana
• Background in cloud security, compliance, and governance automation.
• Familiarity with zero-downtime deployment strategies (e.g., blue/green, canary).
• Knowledge of SRE best practices and building fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Contributions to open-source DevOps tools or communities is a plus.
