What Youll Be Doing...
This role is critical to the function within IT asset management (ITAM) that focuses on the lifecycle of a company's physical IT equipment. In this role, you will be handling the End-to-End process of IT asset management lifecycle. The goal is to maximize the value of hardware while minimizing costs, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance. The person should have the problem-solving skills, communication skills, and an understanding of the requirements from the business properly by ensuring the well-equipped systems are provisioned as per their demand.

• Maintaining accurate records of all IT hardware assets (laptops, desktops, peripherals, network devices, etc.) throughout their lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
• Tracking asset allocation, ownership, movement, and location across departments using asset management tools.
• Ensuring timely update of asset databases and tagging all IT hardware with appropriate asset labels.
• Coordinating with procurement and vendors for hardware purchase, warranty tracking, and AMC renewals.
• Supporting physical audits, reconciliation of asset data, and identifying gaps between actual and recorded inventory.
• Collaborating with IT support teams for asset issuance, recovery, and RMA processes.
• Assisting in creating and maintaining SOPs for asset handling, handovers, returns, and disposals.
• Generating regular reports for asset utilization, aging, and forecasting requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with IT policies, data security, and asset governance standards.
• Supporting IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) process as per company and environmental guidelines.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What Were Looking For...

• Strong knowledge of IT hardware and peripherals handling. (Mandatory)
• Familiarity with asset management tools (E.g. ServiceNow etc.)
• Experience in maintaining asset CMDB and lifecycle management.
• Good understanding of ITIL framework (preferred)
• Proficiency in Excel, documentation, and reporting skills
• Excellent coordination and communication skills. (Mandatory)
• Ability to manage audits and work with cross-functional teams (Mandatory)
• This role demands physical presence at the designated office, with a 5-day work commitment. (Mandatory)

Youll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience with IT asset management framework process.
• Experience in IT hardware and peripherals handling. (Mandatory)
• Handle all hardware asset-related inquiries.
• Experience in managing the stores as per the Environmental health and safety norms.
• Experience with asset management tools (E.g. ServiceNow etc.)
• Experience in maintaining asset CMDB and lifecycle management.
• Good understanding of ITIL framework (preferred)
• Excellent knowledge in Excel, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills. (Mandatory)
• Ensure all hardware assets comply with company policies and relevant industry regulations.
• Ability to manage audits and work with cross-functional teams (Mandatory)

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Certified in IT asset Management process (CHAM) (Preferred)
• Certified in ITIL foundation V4 certification. (Preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Implement and enforce procedures for secure data handling and asset disposal to mitigate risks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
