Job Description: Structure Design Engineer

Job Summary:

The responsibility of Structure Design Engineer is to Conceive, Analyse and Design the project and oversee construction of structural components and systems. This involve close coordination with Architects, Service Consultants, Clients, Project Manager, Approving Authority and other Engineers to ensure structures are safe, functional and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design and Analysis: Create detailed designs and conduct structural analysis for buildings, bridges, and other structures using software / manual calculations.

·       Code Compliance: Ensure designs meet Codal Compliances

·       Collaboration: Work closely with Architects, Service Consultants, Clients, Project Manager, Approving Authority and other Engineers

·       Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications and reports.

·       Project Management: Oversee construction projects to ensure structures are built according to design specifications.

·       Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any structural design issues that arise during construction or maintenance.

·       Innovation: Research and implement new materials, technologies, and methodologies to improve structural design and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Education

:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering & Master's Degree in Structural Engineering or a related field

·       
Software Proficiency

:
Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD. Pro, Revit, MS Office, etc.

·       
Skills:

o  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

o  Excellent communication and teamwork skills

o  Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy

o  Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

·       
Required Experiance:

· years of experience in Structural Design Engineering
