Job Summary:
The Junior DevOps Tool Engineer I supports the development, deployment, and maintenance of automation tools and processes to streamline software delivery and infrastructure management. This entry-level role involves assisting senior engineers in optimizing CI/CD pipelines and tool integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines.
- Support the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate tools and automate workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
- Document processes and assist in maintaining best practices.
- Learn and adopt new DevOps tools and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internships or project experience in DevOps or software development.
- Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
