Role Overview:

The Telugu Teacher will be responsible for teaching the Telugu language, literature, and culture to students across assigned grades. The role involves planning engaging lessons, developing students language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension), and ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching & Learning

  2. Deliver well-structured lessons in Telugu language and literature.

  3. Focus on developing students' vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills.
  4. Encourage effective communication in Telugu through reading, writing, and speaking activities.

  5. Curriculum & Planning

  6. Design lesson plans aligned with school curriculum and academic goals.

  7. Prepare and evaluate assignments, projects, and assessments.
  8. Integrate innovative teaching methods (stories, activities, audiovisual aids).

  9. Student Development

  10. Identify students' strengths and areas of improvement.

  11. Provide remedial support where necessary.
  12. Foster an appreciation for Telugu culture, traditions, and values.

  13. Classroom Management

  14. Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment.

  15. Encourage student participation and interactive learning.

  16. Collaboration & Reporting

  17. Coordinate with other subject teachers and academic coordinators.

  18. Maintain accurate student records and progress reports.
  19. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong command over spoken and written Telugu.
  • Knowledge of Telugu grammar, literature, and culture.
  • Effective teaching, communication, and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to engage students with innovative methods.
  • Patience, empathy, and a student-centric approach.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Telugu Literature/Language or equivalent.
  • B.Ed. or relevant teaching certification (preferred).
  • Prior teaching experience in schools/educational institutions (minimum 1–3 years preferred).
