Senior Android Developer (Full-Stack with UI/UX & Testing)

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a full-stack professional with over 5 years of experience in Android development, who is proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a strong emphasis on UI/UX design and a proven track record of successfully testing and deploying robust applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • App Development: Design, build, and maintain advanced, high-performance, and scalable applications for the Android platform.
  • Full-Stack Development: Lead the development of both client-side and server-side logic.
  • Front-End & UI/UX: Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code. You'll be responsible for creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Back-End Development: Design and develop back-end services and APIs, and manage databases to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Testing & QA: Implement comprehensive unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure app stability, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure a successful release.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a technical mentor for junior developers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and mobile development best practices to continuously improve development efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven professional experience in Android app development.
  • Languages & Frameworks:
  • Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Extensive experience with the Android SDK.
  • Proficiency in and React for full-stack development.
  • Front-End Expertise:
  • Solid understanding of Android UI/UX design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with modern Android UI toolkits like Jetpack Compose or XML layouts.
  • Back-End Expertise:
  • Experience with back-end technologies, including server-side development and database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party library integration.
  • Testing & CI/CD:
  • Expertise in unit testing and UI testing using frameworks like JUnit and Espresso.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Architectural Patterns: Deep knowledge of modern Android architectural patterns, such as MVVM, MVI, or MVP.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and standard code collaboration workflows.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹20,906.96 per month

Expected hours: 84 per week
