Senior Accountant

Job Overview

ICRG Tax Consultant is looking for a skilled Senior Accountant who can independently handle GST filings, prepare and finalize accounts, manage assistant accountants, and deliver accurate financial reports for clients. The candidate must be confident in taxation, accounting standards, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. GST & Tax Compliance

  • Prepare and file all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, Reconciliation)
  • Manage GST notices, replies, and compliance follow-ups
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings

2. Accounts Preparation

  • Prepare complete books of accounts for clients
  • Handle ledger scrutiny, journal entries, and bank reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate financial records

3. Accounts Finalization

  • Prepare P&L account, Balance Sheet, and all audit schedules
  • Finalize accounts for audit and coordinate with auditors
  • Ensure books comply with accounting and tax standards

4. Team Supervision

  • Manage and guide Assistant Accountant / Accounts Executive
  • Allocate daily work and review their output
  • Provide training and support on accounting and GST processes

5. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to clients
  • Assist with budgeting and cash flow statements when required

Preferred Qualifications

  • CA Finalist (preferred), or
  • Experienced M.Com holder with strong accounting and GST expertise
  • 2–3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting software (Tally/ERP)
  • Good communication and client-handling skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
