Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer proficient in React Native to lead our mobile development projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and managing cross-platform mobile applications from scratch, with a strong focus on high-quality, scalable, and performant code. This role involves guiding the development team, architecting solutions, and driving the technical direction of our mobile initiatives.

Responsibilities


• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.


• Architect and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.


• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.


• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.


• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and their implementation.


• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high code quality through code reviews and testing.


• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our applications are cutting-edge and competitive.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and foster a culture of innovation within the team.

Eligibility


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).


• 4+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 4 years focused on mobile application development using React Native.


• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks.


• Extensive experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.


• Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.


• Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, including performance optimization, caching, security, and monitoring.


• Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a significant plus.


• Deep understanding of mobile-specific challenges, such as battery consumption optimization and network constraints.


• Proven track record of delivering complex, high-quality software solutions on schedule.


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.


• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desired Eligibility

● Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.

● Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and server less architectures.

Travel

As and when required, across the country for project execution and monitoring as well as for coordination with geographically distributed teams.
