1. Job Overview

The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design development, client coordination, material selection, execution supervision, and team guidance. The role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, leadership, and strong understanding of on-site execution. The candidate must ensure seamless project delivery with high-quality design standards aligned with company objectives.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Design Conceptualization & Development

Develop creative design concepts and transform them into detailed drawings.

Prepare space planning, mood boards, color schemes, and theme-based concepts.

Work on 2D drawings, layouts, GFCs, and coordinate 3D visualizations.

Present design concepts to clients with clarity and confidence.

B. Client Coordination & Communication

Attend client meetings; understand requirements thoroughly.

Communicate design ideas, project timelines, material selections, and cost implications.

Maintain positive relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

C. Material Selection & Vendor Coordination

Select and finalize materials, finishes, fixtures, fabric, and furniture as per design intent.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for samples and approvals.

Ensure materials meet quality, durability, and design standards.

D. Execution & Site Supervision

Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is executed as per drawings and design specifications.

Coordinate with site supervisors, agencies, contractors, and carpenters.

Monitor quality, timelines, and resolve on-site issues proactively.

Verify measurements, check finishing work, and ensure final output matches design expectations.

E. Team Leadership & Collaboration

Guide junior designers, interns, and drafting teams.

Review and approve their drawings before execution.

Collaborate internally with architects, project managers, and purchase teams for smooth workflow.

F. Project Management & Documentation

Prepare BOQs, specifications, and working details.

Support in budgeting, cost estimation, and vendor evaluations.

Maintain proper documentation of design revisions, approvals, and project progress.

3. Desired Skills & Competencies

Strong creativity and design sense.

Excellent knowledge of materials, textures, and latest design trends.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office (3ds Max/Revit added advantage).

Strong communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.

Eye for detail and quality.

Leadership skills with the ability to handle multiple projects independently.

Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
