Key Responsibilities

  • Implement approved procurement policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence by all team members.
  • Regularly update order placement against Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Material Requisitions (MR).
  • Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials along with required documentation.
  • Monitor supplier delivery schedules, highlight delays, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Ensure availability of detailed packing lists and coordinate with the Logistics Buyer for timely freight forwarding.
  • Provide regular progress updates and concerns to the Lead Expeditor regarding material availability and shipments.
  • Update purchase order status in Procurement Tracker/Expediting Module.
  • Coordinate and arrange required certificates, resolving discrepancies to clear inspections.
  • Maintain clear communication with suppliers, end users, and team members to meet agreed delivery schedules.
  • Prepare and submit departmental reports on time as per company and departmental requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and information security rules.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Section Head to support continuous operations.
