Role & responsibilities

  • Create and integrate high-quality VFX for ads, short films, and other media projects
  • Work closely with the director, producers, and other artists to bring creative concepts to life
  • Design and execute a wide range of VFX elements, including explosions, simulations, compositing, matte painting, and 3D integration
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure VFX aligns with the overall vision and aesthetics of the project
  • Optimize VFX for a range of formats, ensuring seamless integration with live-action footage
  • Participate in brainstorming and creative discussions, contributing to the overall look and feel of projects
  • Stay updated on the latest VFX techniques, software, and industry trends

What You Need to Succeed

Must-Have:

  • Professional experience in VFX creation for ads, short films, or other visual media
  • Proficiency in industry-standard VFX software (e.g., Houdini, Nuke, After Effects, Cinema 4D, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of compositing, matte painting, and 3D tracking
  • Ability to create realistic simulations (e.g., fire, smoke, explosions) and integrate them into live-action footage
  • Ability to combine different elements (CGI, live-action footage, matte paintings) seamlessly into a final shot, ensuring consistency in lighting, color, and perspective.
  • Solid knowledge of color grading and post-production techniques
  • Experience in creating visually stunning effects that meet project requirements and timelines
  • Comfortable working with teams and taking feedback to refine and improve work
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your VFX work

Preferred candidate profile

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine real-time VFX work
  • Experience working with motion graphics for digital ads
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools to improve VFX workflow
  • Prior work on commercial, promotional, or narrative film projects
  • Understanding of sound design and how it integrates with VFX
