Roles & Responsibilities:


• Lead and manage the testing team in a software development project.


• Develop and implement testing strategies, plans and procedures.


• Define, document and maintain quality standards and procedures.


• Develop and maintain test schedules.


• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback.


• Review test cases and test scripts to ensure they are comprehensive and accurate.


• Coordinate and execute manual and automated tests, report defects and track their resolution.


• Collaborate with development teams to ensure defects are understood and resolved in a timely manner.


• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on testing progress and status.


• Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers.

Requirements

Prerequisites:


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.


• Total 7 yrs of experience as a Test Lead.


• Proven experience as a Test Lead or similar leadership role.


• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques and tools.


• Good understanding of software development life cycle.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team of testers.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies.


• Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr, etc.


• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.


• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.


• ISTQB/ASTQB certification.
