Our client is looking for a
Senior Product Manager
to lead the Payments & Checkout charter. In this role, you will define and build the future of seamless, secure, and high-conversion checkout experiences for millions of users. You will work at the intersection of product, design, data, partnerships, and engineering to deliver a frictionless payment experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the Payments and Checkout experience
  • Optimize conversion, reduce drop-offs, and improve payment success rates across various channels and payment methods (UPI, cards, wallets, EMI, etc.).
  • Partner with risk, finance, and compliance teams to ensure all payment flows adhere to regulatory standards and security best practices.
  • Build and scale integrations with PSPs, gateways, and financial partners to deliver best-in-class transaction reliability and speed.
  • Define key success metrics (checkout completion rate, payment success %, TAT, etc.) and lead data-driven improvements.
  • Work closely with design and engineering teams to ship features that balance user experience, risk management, and business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to personalize checkout experiences and increase BNPL adoption through contextual nudges and smart credit decisioning.
  • Collaborate with GTM, marketing, and growth teams to ensure alignment between product releases and business objectives.
  • Keep a strong pulse on the evolving payments ecosystem, fintech regulations (RBI, PCI-DSS, etc.), and emerging checkout technologies.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–10 years of product management experience, ideally with at least 3+ years in payments, checkout, or BNPL domains.
  • Strong understanding of digital payments infrastructure — UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, PSP integrations, tokenization, and payment orchestration.
  • Experience managing end-to-end consumer journeys in high-scale fintech or e-commerce environments.
  • Education - Tier - 1 Bachelors or Masters, preferred
