Role Summary :

Responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central(formerly Dynamics NAV) to meet business needs. The role involves designing and developing solutions using AL/C-AL, managing integrations, configuring modules, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize ERP processes across finance, supply chain, and operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and customize Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions using AL language and Visual Studio Code.

- Develop extensions (V2.0) and event-driven customizations adhering to Microsoft best practices.

- Integrate Business Central with third-party applications via APIs, web services (SOAP/ODATA), and Azure functions.

- Handle data migration using configuration packages, RapidStart Services, and custom import routines.

- Work with Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments, including debugging in Visual Studio Code.

- Write technical documentation, including architecture design, technical specifications, and deployment guides.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

Technical Skills Required

- Strong hands-on experience in AL development for Dynamics 365 Business Central.

- Previous experience with C/AL in Dynamics NAV is a strong plus.

- Proficient in API development, integration, and web services (REST/SOAP/ODATA).

- Strong understanding of BC data model, table extensions, page customizations, and permissions.

- Experience with report development using RDLC and Word layout.

- Familiarity with Azure Services, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).

- Knowledge of SQL Server, Jet Reports, or Excel-based reporting (optional).

- Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, and managing Dev/Test/Prod pipelines.
