Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Study & Design of new component Drawing, Process, and fixture setup for Automation & Robot Spot Welding lines.
• Prepare the Designs for Development of Tooling & Engineering.
• Prepare & Study fixture Layout, Tool layout, Overall line layout in Auto-cad.
• Checking of Detail drawings, Part drawings for manufacturing.
• Preparation of Bill of Material.
• Design and drafting of various types of BIW Spot Welding Jigs & Fixture. Material Handling grippers, Peripheral equipment's. (Piping, Cable tray, Fence, Trollies, Conveyors)
• Design and drafting of various types of Tools. (Form Tools & Combination Tools)
• Design and drafting of various types of Gauges as per requirement.
• Handling & Study of drawings.
• Follow the Standards in the design process.
• Onsite Design support is expected during Installation. (whenever required)
• Looking for a long-term association with candidate.
• Suggestion & Proposal for new ideas & technology.

Skills:

• Having experience in the Design of BIW Robotics Spot welding line fixtures & Grippers (Spotwelding jigs, Arc welding fixtures)
• Overseeing design-related tasks Including Planning of Fixtures, Gauges, Machine, and Tool layout.
• Knowledge of Standards, like Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic elements, Air Circuits, Poka-yoke, Sequence sheet etc…
• Experience in design and development of Mechanical components, Assemblies, Complete Automation, and Jigs and Fixtures using CAD software.
• Working knowledge and application experience of GD & T (Geometric Dimensions and Tolerance) based on ASME/IS/ISO & Engineering Drawing Practices.
• He should know about basic engineering calculations such as Clamp force calculations, Cylinder calculation, Cylinder & valve selection, calculating Weight, Centre of Gravity, Basic Strength of Material Selection. Material Properties etc.
• He should have Knowledge of the Manufacturing process & methods. Also having the Knowledge of Spot welding, Arc welding.
• Knowledge and work experience in Robotic Welding Assembly Line Layouts.
• He should be knowledgeable of FEA & Static Analysis.
• Priority for the candidate who has experience of Maruti Suzuki Jig design standards.

• Diploma/ BE/ B.tech
