About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
AWS Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
to design, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, high availability, and performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in
AWS cloud services, automation, monitoring, and incident management
, while applying modern
DevOps and SRE best practices
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable AWS infrastructure.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery planning across systems.
  • Set up monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
  • Drive incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve CI/CD pipelines.
  • Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Apply SRE principles such as error budgets, SLIs/SLOs, and chaos engineering.
  • Maintain security compliance and best practices for AWS environments.

Primary Skills Required

  • Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, VPC, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
  • Proficiency in monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, and security practices.
  • Expertise in automation using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with DevOps & SRE practices: incident management, SLIs/SLOs, error budgets.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).

Good to Have

  • Experience with chaos engineering and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of FinOps / AWS cost optimization strategies.
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).
