Digital S/W Eng Intm Analyst

The Digital S/W Engineer Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Select and develop appropriate test automation solutions, applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing. Should be creative and proactive thinker to make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.

• Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites. Prepare reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of the test scripts.

• In charge of the stream E2E test scope, drive automation, test plan, test execution, test reports.

• Drive defect management for his/her stream, conducting RCA and regular Escape analysis to continuously improve the test approach. Feedback to the QA practice on identified improvement areas

• Manage stream testing process using project management methodologies, tools and procedures.

• Be accountable for the resulting quality of the products or components

• Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.

Experience:

• Hands-on working experience on Test Automation using Data Driven, Keyword Driven and Hybrid Framework.

• Experience API automation would be added advantage

• Hands-on working experience in regression test suite design and maintenance, able to analyze manual test cases, specs and requirements

• Good understanding of Testing Life Cycle and latest Test methodologies and processes.

• Plays key role in regression (execution, result analysis, defect reporting and follow-up).

• Thorough Knowledge of automation tool Selenium

Education/Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Engineering or Computer Science

Leadership & Supervisory:

• Must be able to take on leadership responsibilities and influence the direction of the automation effort, and its schedule and prioritization.

• Provide the Engg Manager with accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.

• Assist the Test Manager in preparing test plans and schedules.

• Participate in tester interviews, including administering "audition interviews" for Manual Test Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, and Test Technician candidates.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in an Apps Development role. Demonstrated execution capabilities.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven and results-oriented
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
