Vivid Diagnostic Centre, Kerala's leading chain of diagnostic centers with NABL Accreditation and ISO Certification, is seeking experienced and enthusiastic professionals for the position of Biochemist at our Vyttila branch.

The desired candidate should have minimum 3-5 years of experience as Biochemist within the Laboratory of a Hospital/Medical Centre/Diagnostic Centre.

The desired candidate should have B.Sc & M.Sc in Biochemistry qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory Management:
  • Conduct biochemical tests and experiments accurately and efficiently.
  • Analyze samples using advanced laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of all tests and procedures.
  • Quality Control:
  • Ensure all laboratory activities comply with NABL and ISO standards.
  • Participate in regular quality control and assurance programs.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Interpret and report test results to medical professionals and patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive diagnostic insights.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
  • Regularly calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols within the laboratory environment.
  • Ensure the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Key Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in biochemical laboratory techniques and use of equipment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
  • Analytical Abilities:
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and analyze biochemical data.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate test results and findings to medical professionals and patients.
  • Teamwork:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
