Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Quality Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in
quality inspection and assurance of precision components
in manufacturing environments (automotive, aerospace, medical devices, or similar). You will be responsible for leading inspection activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across processes and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and perform
    inspection of precision-machined components
    using tools such as
    CMM, profile projectors, micrometers, calipers, gauges
    , etc.
  • Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure components meet design requirements.
  • Develop and implement
    quality control plans (QCP)
    , inspection criteria, and
    SOPs
    .
  • Conduct
    root cause analysis (RCA)
    and
    corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
    for quality issues.
  • Ensure
    compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949
    or other applicable quality standards.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality) to resolve quality concerns.
  • Train and mentor junior inspectors/technicians in quality inspection and documentation best practices.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inspection records and prepare detailed quality reports.
  • Support
    internal and external audits
    , including customer and regulatory audits.
  • Contribute to
    continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.)
    .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma
    in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience
    in quality inspection of precision components.
  • Strong knowledge of
    GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
    and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in operating
    CMM (manual/automated)
    and other precision measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with
    statistical quality control (SQC)
    , sampling plans, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of
    ISO/IATF/AS
    quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
